I started this Journal as a folder of notes I kept after trips I could not stop thinking about. It is now where I put the longer pieces — the ones that need photographs to make sense, and time to write.

I travel slowly and usually alone, mostly in India and Southeast Asia. I love travelling though the villages, understanding cultures and feeling every essence of it, rather than some fancy instagrammable things. I am more interested in the ordinary Tuesday of a place than in its headline sight, which means the stories here tend to be about culture, history, people and the small things that hold a village together.
